We provide personalized tutoring for students K-5. Each lesson is tailored to the student's learning style, academic level, and individual goals. Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or needs extra support to strengthen foundational skills, personalized instruction is designed to help them build confidence, develop strong academic habits, and discover a love of learning.

While Growing Minds with Glennda specializes in K through 5th grade, tutoring for older students may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Every child learns differently. As a certified elementary educator and Science of Reading certified teacher, I create personalized lessons that focus on building both academic skills and confidence. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help children become independent, lifelong learners.

The Science of Reading is a body of research that identifies the most effective ways to teach children how to read. My instruction uses evidence-based strategies that help students build strong foundational reading skills through explicit instruction in phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Most students make the greatest progress when they attend one to two sessions per week. I'll recommend a schedule based on your child's needs and goals.

Students should bring: Homework (if applicable) Classroom materials A notebook Pencils Any teacher-provided resources Virtual students should also have a charged device and reliable internet connection.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited, except in cases of emergency.

Yes! Families receive 10% off tutoring services for each additional sibling enrolled.
